Checking whether you are signed in…

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account, name, email address and password
• Your profile and preferences, including what you said you wanted to work on
• Your library: hypnosis sessions you bought are removed and cannot be restored
• Anything you wrote when booking an appointment
• Every device you are signed in on, including downloads stored in the app

Downloaded sessions on a phone are encrypted with a key held only on that phone, so they stop being playable as soon as the app signs out, and the app deletes them.

Records of payments are kept because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. They stay as a record of a transaction and are no longer linked to you: the account they pointed at no longer exists.

Past appointments remain in the therapist’s own records, as their professional obligations require, with anything you wrote removed.

If you have a membership, deleting your account cancels it so that you stop being billed. Where the membership was bought decides who cancels it:

• Bought on this website: we cancel it with our payment provider as part of deleting the account.
• Bought in the Android app: Google Play handles that billing, and we ask Google to cancel it. You can also cancel it yourself in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions.

You keep the time you have already paid for until the account is deleted; no refund is due for the remainder of a period you chose to end early.

In the Android app, open Settings and choose Delete my account. The app shows the same list of what will happen and asks you to confirm with your password, or by signing in with Google again if that is how you sign in.

Deleting from this page or from the app happens immediately. Backups are kept for 30 days as protection against data loss, after which the deleted data is gone from those too.

If you have lost access to your email address or password, write to us at support@ineedhypno.com or through our contact page. We will verify who you are another way and delete the account within 30 days.
