I have been teaching yoga since May of 2024, but my teaching experience was shaped far before then when I worked as a paraprofessional for struggling kids at a local school just before (and during) the COVID pandemic. At this job, I learned that with a little extended compassion when someone feels particularly unlovable, you can accomplish things you never thought were possible with humans. I also got my first taste of Social Emotional Language and Neurolinguistic Programing, as they are common practices in the classrooms here. I am often found habitually coaching seemingly lost souls even in the most unexpected places. My mission in this life is to make connection to self feel accessible, even to skeptics like me, so even if I only ever reach a small handful of people, I believe heavily in the ripple effect of this work. Outside of work, I'm a mother of two teenagers, who aspires to have more adventures with them and our giant floofy dog.
